Questions people ask
How is AutoMailSender different from Apple Mail?
Apple Mail can attach a file to a message you write. AutoMailSender removes the message: you set up recipients once, and after that a drag-and-drop is a sent email. For writing normal email, use Apple Mail — this is not a replacement for it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no server of ours involved. You connect your own email — Gmail, Outlook, Office 365, iCloud, Yahoo or any custom SMTP — and files go straight from your Mac to that provider over TLS/SSL.
What does it cost?
Your first 25 emails are free, with no subscription and no account. Unlimited sending is a one-time €9.99 in-app purchase. A one-time €49.99 Enterprise tier adds scheduled and recurring emails and more than two sender accounts.
Can it email files automatically, without me dragging anything?
Yes. Mark a folder as watched and link it to a recipient. Every new file that lands in that folder is emailed automatically — saving the file is the send.
What happens to file types my provider blocks?
AutoMailSender wraps them in an AES-256 password-protected ZIP so they arrive instead of bouncing.
Does it work offline or send my files to the cloud?
Nothing goes to a cloud service of ours — there isn't one. Your credentials live in the macOS Keychain, and the app talks directly to your email provider, so you do need an internet connection to send.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac on macOS 14 or later. It is a native Swift and SwiftUI app of about 1.7 MB, not an Electron wrapper, and it is translated into 18 languages.
